Boogeestro did the character design and lines. I did the water background, the sub, and her colors. I’ll be posting a text about the whole thing shortly. I hope you like, because not only is this IMHO the best I’ve ever done, it may be the best I ever will do.
Will You Still Love This One Tomorrow? – The Movie!
No, really I just wanted to do this one image as a “Photo” type Tumblr post because I think it let’s you see it at higher res without going through weird URL manipulation. So sorry for the kinda double-post.
This one is by Tealtentacles (according to E621) or by Guoh somewhere else. I don’t think the style looks right for Guoh though, so let’s call it by Tealtentacles. The eyes hooked me, and the kinda small breasts too. But those eyes are practically HAUNTING. And, though yeah – it’s porn I suppose. I prefer to think of it as highly sexual though. Sex is natural. Porn is usually the farthest thing from natural. At least that’s how I see it. Fuck it, it’s what it is…
I went through a lot of variations on this one that I think you might find entertaining. First, of course, the base colors:
FurNut is messing with some fur brushes he got, so I felt like giving some a try too. Don’t laugh, its just an experiment!
Unfortunately she looks like a werewolf. I abandoned that for another time. But it was around here I happened to be chatting with Rajirra’s #1 Fan and I realized that this would be REAL easy to convert to Rajirra (despite the fact that they look totally and completely different and to say otherwise would be Khajiit-racist. You’re not racist are you?)
So here’s starting over with Rajirra colors and some hair I added.
Fortunately, because of her position I didn’t have much to worry about trying to duplicate the style in the hair. I think it doesn’t stand out as too much different. Now, for shading. I decided to go for soft shading this time (prob. because I abandoned it on the last one).
But wait! There’s more! A little gloss and some eye highlighting and she’s basically done. I love her eyes on this one. She’s got stars in her eyes. Literally. There’s a reason for that coming up. And her eyes are very dilated. That’s a sure sign of sexual arousal. Or drugs. Or low light. You can decide which.
If that ground shading seems unusually dark, there’s a reason and it involves the next question. I almost always add some sort of background. For some reason I got it into my head that I REALLY wanted this to be a night picture, and Sashimi mentioned in his fanfiction that the first time his OC and Raj ‘got together’ was lakeside. It wasn’t supposed to be at night, but I had my idea anyway. Lakeside at night. Now, sometimes I cheat and just go find a photo or something, but not this time. I actually worked on the background…
That’s the basics. Added stars and a moon and some leaves hanging over to give it a real outdoorsy feel, as well as some awesome moon reflections on the water. Also I darkened her main shading even more, as the one thing that stands out to me in a nighttime image is the stark shading.
Now, purists would say that lighting can’t be moonlight because the Moon is behind her. Well, guess what.. there’s more than one moon on Nirn! 🙂
So that’s it. My headcanon says she’s about to go all-the-way with her partner for the first time, but she’s worried that this will change their relationship. She wants to, but it’s a big step. However, the moon is right, the summer breeze on her fur has her in the mood, and her lover is just as eager.
And so, she asks the age old, time honored and unanswerable question…
First, by ECMajor again. I’m just coloring. I got such a huge response from the last one though, how could I not? Of course, I know all the response was ECM’s And with halloween coming up, this was just a natural. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
ECM calls it Nude Jersey Welcomes You.
I call it conflicted. I’m convinced it was ECMajor’s way of testing just how gross can an image be and still be sexy. Oddly enough, the answer is obviously, “Pretty Damn Gross!”. You’re gonna have to go even grosser apparently.
What is that? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?
Well, I call it a Zombie-Dragon-Camel-Demon. Pretty common actually. 🙂
Now, I’ll tell you right now if you don’t zoom in on this thing, you’re missing a lot. And, of course, Tumblr doesn’t Iet you zoom in. If you know the 1280 filename trick, go for it. But I tend to ramble on, showing layers and stuff, but with all the new people watching, I won’t do that to you. Here’s my final colored version. You needn’t go any farther. Also I’ll put the full res version on FA shortly.
Okay, so here’s my layers. I’ll zoom in on the important bits so Tumblr’s shitty resolution won’t totally ruin it.
For base colors, I went with a rather tame fawnish color for the majority. Three levels of green for the scales. A sickly red for the topmost horns and that weird stuff going on at her back. Yellow eyes to pop out. I tried various colors for the wings, but the dark grey with a very slight blue looed best I thought. Mostly I am trying not to oversaturate colors. I tend to do that. Okay, on to shading.
ECMajor shades awfully well just in the drawing. There’s really little I have to do but follow his lead. And that determines the light source. I did bring the light source down somewhat from where most of his shade indicates though. Don’t know that it’s very noticeable. Highlighting is next, and that tends to be a problem for me. I definitely have a tendency to overdo it and make my characters look like they’re made of latex. (Um… I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. But my tastes aren’t necessarily everyone’s. Nor realistic. 🙂

EWWW! That looks better (worse) than I ever expected!
Finally I settled on that rather plain background. I tried a variety of things, but really there’s so much going on her body, the background cries out to be simple. So I kept it that way in the end, just giving it a bit more than a simple gradient, and highlighting ECM’s sig that I’d almost obscured. Put my own in too this time. I used to think it was conceit to put a sig on for just coloring, but another artist pointed out that it’s preferred, so everyone knows if you screw it up badly, it’s not their fault. 🙂
Oh, and to leave you with another great part. Those outrageous hooves. Yikes.
Yes, more coloring of Valtik’s Roo. Spent some quantity time with this one. Whether or not it shows is a different question, but damn if I’m not going to make you look at all the shit I did! 🙂
That’s the original. So there’ll be no hiding in dark places on this one. In fact, those few places with shade, I removed so I could do my own shading. Here’s the base colors:
A bit more work on the background here than I usually do, and I added some sand on her blanket. Yeah, there’s a couple of quirky spots, but don’t worry, those get covered up anyway later. But it was about here that the 2nd boob started bothering me. I ended up going with it as-is, but it just seems somehow wrong. Maybe too low? But others convinced me it was fine, so in the end I removed an edit I did and went back to the original. Now… shading…
There’s my light-lines layer as well as shade layers to help guide where shading needs to go. The source is also closer to the viewer so most of the good stuff is out of the shade. The shading on the blanket is my standard “purple multiply” layer stuff, but the shade on her body is actually a Normal layer with selected color rather than the same. Kept the shading pretty sharp because the next is not going to be sharp at all…
That too is actual painting rather than just gloss. It does function like gloss somewhat, but the colors aren’t just lighter, they’re a bit warmer (redder) than simply a lighter color. Yeah, that’s what I get from reading some tutorials.Don’t worry, there’s still true gloss to come…
Now… what’s different this time? Edge reflections. Those edges near the blanket are taking on some of the blue hue of the blanket, while upper edges are outlined in white, suggesting light from above. Not the first time I’ve done reflectivity, but it may be the most obvious on her butt. Okay, time to wrap this up. Guess what’s next?
Highlights in the eyes, some glossy on her ass and… intimate places. Even some on her book to suggest a glossy cover. Yup! I like it.
As to her attitude, why’s she disappointed in you THIS time? Of course, only Valtik knows for sure and he’s not talking. My first impression was another “Stiop looking at my ass!” type frown. But on reflection, I don’t think that’s it.
I think it’s a “What the hell are you waiting for? A literal fucking invitation? I didn’t bring you to this private nude beach just to read a book! Lick it or something!!” sort of frown.
First off, I really think this is the best work I’ve ever done. So yeah, I’m going to go through the process. But let’s talk first about Audrey. She’s a blind Argonian created by Herny some years ago.
I expect he thought she’d be a cute one-off character. Instead she’s sort of taken on a life of her own with tons of fanart etc. She’s even got a tumblr of her own!
I’ve been aware of her, being a big Argonianut. But recently I was searching for something new to color and someone suggested I try this:
That’s by Chingilin, based on the post at the Audrey Fandom site, made around Feb 4 2016 and termed a WIP. Normally I’d never do something that was being done by the original artist. However, when I went to Chinglilin’s DA site: https://chingilin.deviantart.com/ his last update was March of 2017. It references this Tumblr too: https://chingilinart.tumblr.com/ but the most recent post there was May of 2017. So I think it’s at least safe to say he’s gone inactive and is probably not working on this anymore. So I took up the mantle.
First I cleaned up the drawing and darkened the lines:
Then, of course, flat colors. TBH it wasn’t till I got to this step that I realized, “Hey! She’s laying down! This is a Dakimakura! (yeah, I’m slow that way.)
And then I got mad. I WANT to do super soft shading like Doomthewolf and MilesDF! But I’ve never managed it. I usually try by selecting a huge brush, hitting the softest possible settings, selecting the part I want to shade softly, and taking it from there. But it’s never looked right to my eyes. Granted, I’m trying to do shading with a purple shade on a Multiply layer and not really using proper coloring techniques to do it. But I still felt like it would still look good anyway if I could just get the shading right.
So last night I tried something different. I tried a curved gradient instead. One for each boob, one for the lower body, and a combination of gradients and my giant soft brus both for the arms, legs and tail. And some normal hard shading where I felt it was appropriate.This is the result…
THATS it! That’s what I’d been trying to do and failing! I don’t know if that’s how the ‘greats’ do it at all, but that’s what I wanted! Now we’re cooking!!! So the rest is more of what I’ve done before, though taking my time to complete each with enough patience to justify that transparent, curved gradient shading.
Here she is with hair shade and bed wrinkles in place. But… I’m bluedraggy. I do shiny things. Time to add some SHINE!
That… IMHO, is the best work I’ve ever done. So far, of course. But I do feel like I’m finally improving again, and that gradient shading was the key to what I’ve always wanted to be able to do.
Apologies to Chingilin for doing that without asking, but it did seem clear he wasn’t going to finish it after 2 years, right? I do care about such things.

After flat colors. Obviously removed most of Guoh’s shading to replace with my own. I also have to admit to rounding out her butt a bit. I don’t normally do that sort of thing. I know he was going for the skinny-rat style here, but her butt just seemed a little TOO angular. Couldn’t quite comprehend what was going on around her feet – lower legs either so I simplified those.
Gloss, highlights and shade. But I decided I’d like this to be a night scene, so just one sharp shade layer and pretty dark.
And then a nice night background. Followed a tutorial honestly, but I still think it turned out pretty much how I had in mind.
She doesn’t look like someone you’d want to meet late at night actually. At least, not when she’s pissed off because someone stole her clothes.
I was futzing with different adjustments though and came up with this. Which I think I actually like better than the final above in an artistic way.
I’m not sure that there’s any made-up word that I hate quite so much as ‘twofer’ though.
DrawDragonDicks asked me to color something. But let me first start by explaining who DrawDragonDicks is. I’ll call him dddicks for short. I’ve no idea who he is. But he inspired Kazerad to draw the silliest phallus I’ve ever seen.
Kaz just drew the dragon dick. Someone else (and you know who you are) inserted it into this Prequel frame.
Now anyone who can inspire something so horrifyingly funny deserves something, right? So he sent me this and asked me to color it. Who am I to refuse such a muse?
Well, it’s up my alley so-to-speak. Not a big fan of the face honestly but I can work with that. Came up with this:
No idea if there are supposed to be canon colors for the character so I just made up my own.
Then I came across this one Kaz drew. As I recall, the request was “draw Rajirra sexy”. Result:
I think someone else red-lined the boobs and suggested modifications. So I just took those red lines, modified the boobs, and ran with it.
This is also the first time I’ve ever tried to do the eyes RIGHT. For the longest time (forever) I assumed Rajirra/Katia/Bartender (racist, I know) had black eyes – or really dark grey. Kaz mentioned some weeks ago that really she has yellow irises and just really really huge pupils. And we’ve never actually seen the whites of her eyes (but they’re back there somewhere).
So whereas I’d been adding grey irises as part of eye highlights, the :lightened” part really should be outside the pupils.
Anyway, that’s it. My latest deviancies. Sorry to subject you to a huge dragon dick so early in the morning. 🙂

Here’s how I’m currently doing stuff. I’m getting a fair number of requests now, but I really don’t do requests. I add them to my folder of ‘possible coloring I might want to do’. But when I start a new one I just click Open and search till I find a file that I take a fancy to. Like two days ago I opened a lot, but none really caught my eye till this one:
I know I probably protest too much, but I’m really not that into super curvies. Or Renamon really, though I have to admit the artist named DoomTheWolf has turned that around somewhat. In fact, I had one of his works opened as I did this one, trying again to achieve his soft blending. I didn’t achieve it, I’ll tell you that now, but that’s my goal anyway.

I kinda liked posting layers in sort of reverse order, so I’ll do that again. I’m going to start with the background this time. I may have ruined this one with the background I chose, but I’m going to run with it anyway. I chose a RL shower picture with an angled b/w gradient over the top and a lot of blur added to the shower. My hope is that it doesn’t stand out too much and overshadow Ren.
Well here’s an interesting combination of layers. The black/white is a color dodge “sheen” layer where black leaves the colors unchanged and white brightens them in a special way. The purple is some shadow layers that are a multiply layer which darkens the underlying flat colors.
And this is the result. I ended up darkening the underlying colors on a LOT towards the end. It just looked a lot better imho.
As to what I’ll work on next, I’ve no idea. If you send me suggestions, all I’ll promise is that they’ll go into my ‘maybe’ folder. In general though I prefer ones with clean lines (so I don’t have to clean them up too much. I’m not good at linework). Also, though I’ve done pretty porny ones, I prefer simple one-character nudes really. I’m not sure why exactly. I just find them more appealing for whatever reason. Though I rule nothing out completely. Except maggots. Maggots and all that implies are out. Nothing too bizarre. FWIW no one has sent me anything too bizarre yet though.*
