That’s the canon character by Guoh himself in color. I might prefer mine a little bit, that doesn’t matter. It’s not my character. So next time I’ll follow canon colors. Drawn by Guoh again. I just colored it. But hey, at least I toned down my oversaturated colors! Not my reflectivity though. That stays.
I feel like that look on her face says, “Jeeze, now I’m really not so sure I want to go through with this thing after all. Eh-heh…”
Bea is my favorite, nude or not. Probably some sort of psychology thing going on there where I want to make her life better. But I’d certainly share a cigarette with her.

Another Guoh sketch I colored this morning. It got me thinking though… is it absolutely inevitable that any public drinking done by a Kobold will automatically result in Dire Consequences? I mean, it’s not like some sort of universe-wide D&D law that a drunk Kobold must necessarily have some sort of bawdy or embarrassing situation arise is it?
Likely, sure, but not inevitable.
Like this pretty boob-less kobold here. Why, here she is having a little drink at a tavern. Yeah, she’s getting a little tipsy. But don’t worry! She’s just going to rent a room and sleep it off. Alone. No unexpected guests will drop in. She will not have lost any possessions in the morning. Her hangover will be mercifully brief. I believe in her!
It might be the first time that has ever happened in the D&D universe.
I did something I rarely do on this one. I modified the eyes on his original sketch a little. I just felt like there was something a bit wonky about the pupils so I rounded them out a bit.

Alas, I only color stuff other people draw. I can’t draw, to put it simply. If you want something colored, I can do that though! I’ve never been asked to do a commission. FurNut drew a thing and I colored that thing. I’m playing it cautious and uploading to my nsfw blog tho. I think this hit the height of shinyness. Anything more goes down the other side of the hill into being gloopy.
Those are technical terms btw.
I thought she looked like a chocolate argonian after I colored her, which made me think about Kaz’ candy Katias. This would sell a hell of a lot better, I guarantee.
I really, truly hope Guoh is okay with these, because they’re fun as hell to color for me!
I wonder if I should just post the end result or do another build up… Think I’ll do the build-up again.

Flat colors. Due to a sort of joke I was supposed to do it in Chartreuse, but I ended up with more of a military-drab green and greenish yellow belly…
Red eyes because I kinda like em. Pink naughty bits because naughty bits should always be pink. Then of course the 1st level shading…
I pretty much always do 2 shading levels now. Also for the scalies I try to use a more hard-edge shadow.
But it really comes to life with the highlights and my trademarked (not trademarked) shiny sheeny layer. I love doing that layer, and if it makes them look like they’re made of rubber, sorry – that’s kinda the intent.
That’s it. I REALLY REALLY like this one as it implies a bit of a story just in her expression and position. Looks like she’s been sparring with someone and got knocked down – but she’s getting back up and looks like she’s saying somethig like, “Oh! You’re going to be like that are you? Well then, let’s rock and roll!”
I colored another one by Guoh. Weedum-Ja this time. I didn’t even feel up to messing with a background though. This is New Year’s Day and sitting around coloring a naked argonian sounds like about the best possible thing to do.
Yup, another color job. But if you like NSFW this should be right up your alley. And if you like feline style, even better. Found another drawing by Guoh that I wanted to color, but this time I wanted to stretch my comfort zone a bit. Not just in the source material but in some techniques that I’ve not really tried before.
Also I’m going to have some fun with this one. Reverse Order sorta!
There’s partial shading. Still, you can pretty much tell where it’s going. And yeah, it’s going all-the-way. Hopefully though you can see I’m using a furry-style brush here. I’ve not really done that before. Now layering on my standard shading…
A few more levels of shading there obviouisly. THose were regulare brushes but with the fur brushes ‘behind” them I’m hopeful it will still look sorta furry. Obviously I like the scalies with all those kobolds I did, but a nice soft kitty is good too.
Okay, I can’t keep the colors off forever. Don’t worry, this is just the flat colors with shading over it. And yeah.. pink bits.
Lines in place and it’s almost done. But he drew here left leg kinda wonky. No sweat, I figured out JUST how to hide it…
Don’t like her leg? Why, put a wrinkled bedsheet over it! 🙂 It was amazing how closely this bed fit the wonkyness on her leg. I added a filter to the bed and headboard to make them a bit less realistically jarring. I hope. But no, not done yet. All finishes must end with eyelights!!! It’s what brings them to life!
Okay, you may notice some other highlights besides her eyes. 0.0 (or should I say ( . )( . )?)
Anyway, that’s it. But I did do some pretty heavy work on this, especially given the original sketch. No ding on Guoh EVER. He certainly didn’t expect someone would color this I’m sure. But just to set the record straight, THIS is the original Guoh sketch I started with. I do put effort into these, I assure you!

There, that’s better. Now, where’s the light going to come from? Well, if it comes from anywhere but “there”, certain attributes are going to be in the shade. So…
We mustn’t have that! I went with some pretty hard shading on most of this. A bit more fine tuning of the shading first, then we’ll move along… Mostly with a second darker shade but also some more subtle shading.
And the rubberization and highlighting layers to make it undoubtedly porno.
On your feet you drunken lizard. No, leave the bottle there. I think you’ve had plenty. Now, come along. Let’s get you cleaned up. And for god’s sake pull your skirt back down. Whoa you reek. Stop it! No, I don’t care what you want, you’re going home! Dammit, keep your tongue to yourself!
